Meet the Team
St Scholastica's is fortunate to have a dedicated Warden and Deputy Warden. Their role is to ensure smooth running of the retreat, helping residents to settle, upkeep and maintenance of the flats and dealing with any emergencies which may arise.

Warden and Deputy Warden
The Warden and Deputy Warden support the general well being of residents without interfering in their lives or intruding on their privacy as far as practicable. Residents may, however, request a visit or call each day from the Warden.
In an emergency the Warden or Deputy Warden will call for help on residents behalf and notify their family and friends. At other times they will help to arrange support or care from the local health or social services authorities.
The Warden and Deputy Warden do not provide any form of medical assistance, neither do they provide personal care themselves, or fetch shopping or prescriptions except in emergencies.

Warden
Rev Gordon Nunn
As the Warden, Gordon is entrusted with the day to day management of the Retreat and lives on site.

Deputy Warden
Liz Clarke
Liz also lives on site, deputising for Gordon on a rota system.
Trustees
The Charity is administered by the Trustees with other persons co-opted by them who, together, form the Board of Management. Day-to-day management is carried out by the Warden & Clerk to the Trustees and, in the event of his absence, by the Deputy Warden.
