
Social Events
St Scholastica's residents have a Residents’ Social Committee which is made up of all the residents and meets three times a year to collectively organise social events/activities for the benefit of the community.
Themed Dinners
Evening gatherings are typically organized around a specific theme or nationality, such as pasta night, Burns night, ANZAC, or reminiscing about school dinners.


Friday Coffee Mornings
Held at 10:30am each Friday. Guest speakers are arranged from groups of interest from time to time, such as hearing services, energy doctor, Risborough Community Bus.
Rosary Group
Two rosary groups are available- 17:00 Monday evenings each week and the first Wednesday of the month at 14:30.


Craft Group
The craft group meet each Monday 14:00-16:00, where participants take part in craft activities such as knitting, sewing, embroidery, crochet and jigsaws.
Fish & Chip Suppers
3rd Friday every month - On the third Friday each month the community meet for a fish and chip supper and enjoy each others company.


Movie Night
Movie nights are held on an adhoc basis and in conjunction with alight super. Movies are played on the large screen tv in the common room.
Summer Barbeque
A yearly summer BBQ is held for residents. A time to gather, share a meal and a drink in the summer weather.


Christmas Carols & Buffet
A highlight of the year, when residents and trustees come together to share in carol singing and a Christmas buffet.
